RageQuitter.net L4D Server Updates
The following servers have been updated:
- RageQuitter.net L4D #1
- RageQuitter.net L4D #2
- RageQuitter.net L4D #3 (CEVO)
Changes include:
- All servers are now running CEVO cvars by default. This means you are guaranteed to get a tank on every level. Witches do not spawn on the 1st, and 5th levels. Health packs are now converted to pills (with the exception of the ones in the safe room). Tanks will spawn at the same spot for both teams. Tanks will always spawn before the 90% distance mark.
- Sv_Pure is now set to 2 by default, and not 1. This means that all game content will be required to match that of Steams. This will help reduce the amount of cheating in the servers. Exceptions being that of which you can do in your autoexec.cfg. All other files will need to be original. If a client does not have the original, there is no need to copy the original back, the server will dish you out the correct file for the time of play.
- Servers now do NOT EXCEPT ANY VAC BAN PLAYERS automatically. If any player has a VAC ban on file, regardless of the Engine, the player will automatically be booted from the server.

Rage Quitter vs Dead Noob Storage (UPDATE)
After our glorious victory over Team Awesome, the Rage Quitters are moving on to fight Dead Noob Storage; our second match in the Survival of the Fittest Tournament. The campaign, Death Toll, is our least played. As a result we are practicing like mad to get ready for this upcoming battle. Best of luck to both teams!

Rage Quitter vs Team Awesome (Updated)
Well we just received info that our first match in the Survival of the Fittest Tournament (Hosted by iGames and CEVO), we will be taking on Team Awesome! We are supper excited to get playing and wish Team Awesome the best of luck.

Rage Quitter L4D Servers Moving to LA.
I have officially moved our RageQuitter.net L4D #1 public server to LA, and am currenlty in the process of moving server #2. As you may now, those servers were previously hosted in Texas. This change has changed our server IPs, and decreased ping. I’m finding that I was getting 60-70 ping on the TX servers, and now getting 30-40 ping on the LA servers.
Likewise, each server has been updated with the latest builds of Sourcemod, and I have fixed some issues with plugins. We will be adding additional changes to the server cvars this coming week to include CEVO values to each server.
Why? Because we can. No but seriously, game balancing in versus is a huge issue in my opinion, and changing some values like tank spawn to 100% and spawning in the same spot, is a huge game play issue in my opinion.
Anyways, will keep you updated on when the change is made. So check back often.

Rage Quitter Clan Enters “SOTF” Tournament.
Today we signed up to be apart of the Alienware Arena hosted “Survival of The Fittest” L4D tournament.
Alienware Arena is excited to present the Survival of the Fittest tournament for Left 4 Dead. Tell your friends and register today – it’s free to compete and you’ll have a chance at a $1,500 cash prize pool.
In the opening phase of the tournament up to 256 teams will compete in group play matches with up to 8 teams per group. The top team from each group, 32 groups in all, will advance to the double-elimination finals bracket.
The Survival of the Fittest Championship will feature the top 8 teams and will broadcast on the Alienware Arena site by the casters from PwnageTV. We promise there will be plenty of flesh destroying action!
All matches will be played 4-on-4 versus mode, using official maps and custom server plug-ins for match management. The Match Network Client will ensure fair game play and enable teams to reach each other at game time.

Meet the Rage Quitters
Well you heard about us, you found the website, now learn about who we are. Rage Quitter was formed in 2009 by Psiablo, and it all started with avatars. You might have noticed we all seem to have Sesame Street avatars, well thats because we did it on purpose, instead of a clan tag, we like to sport similar avatars. It started out with Psiablo sporting the Cookie Monster avatar, because well… Psiablo is a bit of a cookie monster, then we found that Zyrisk, reminded us of the Count, and Azereal is well… a grouch (and has shaggy hair). Thus Rage Quitter was born with the main three, and now is growing and sport more Sesame Street/Muppets characters…
